Each print produced and sold is part of a limited edition. When buying a print, you can chose a specific print number, or simply leave it to be allocated automatically. If you do wish to choose a specific print number, please send an email to thewoods@wildwoodarts.co.uk stating which painting, and which print number you would like to order. We will check if your preference is still available, and will pass your request on to the printers. Your fine art print will come with a hand signed certificate of authenticity, which will state the copy number, and the edition size.
All prints get professionally produced by a gyclee printing specialist in Oxfordshire, with over 40 experience in fine art printing.
The paper used is 315 gsm fine art paper, with a matt finish and a 50 mm white border on all sides. A paper print gives you a lot of flexibility regarding which frame you want to choose.
This option uses 330 gsm lightly structured cotton canvas which gets stretched over a 42 mm deep wooden frame, leaving the outer sides white. If you want your print to look like an original painting, this is the way to go. The print can simply be hung, as it is, onto a nail, or nails, or a frame can be added for a more individualized finish.
For added protection, there is also a varnished option with either a matt or a satin finish.
A sleek and more contemporary option. The image gets printed onto a thin dibond composite aluminium panel which comes with a black subframe mounted to the back, making it easy to hang and giving it a light, "floating" appearance. Prints on Dibond are splash- and dust resistant and therefore also suitable for a kitchen or bathroom.
